The word is used to liberally to describe everything from shoes to bathing suits. But what does it mean when we, as girls, wear what society calls "sexy"?
This book goes into details about what happens to guys when we wear what we do.
One thing that especially got my attention was when Hayley wrote something along the lines of, "if you wear that cute-but-skimpy tank top, it's not only the cute guy at the end of the hall who's going to be looking, but every other guy from the ages of 13 to 113." It went on to say that would you really like a man of your Grandpa's age to be looking at you and thinking…"Sexy"?
Hayley DiMarco speaks to girls from their level…she doesn't lecture. She isn't out to dress girls in paper sacks, simply to help them think about what they wear.
And, just in case anyone was wondering, this is a Christian book. ;) It has spaces in the book to write your thoughts and comments, and includes many fun pictures. The book is formatted in a easy to read way.
